Dear Friends, We are holding Our Annual for the Love of our School Fundraiser at Infusinos Banquet Hall is on Saturday, April 14th. CLICK HERE FOR Ticket DETAILS. Our students have made beautiful pottery pieces for the auction and full details can be found HERE. We held Catholic Schools Week at our school and preschool. During that week we held open houses and may activities, such as silly hat day, our annual eight grade versus faculty basketball game, roller skating, a by class trivia contest, our annual "stuff the bus" food collection project and many more activities. It was a great success.
It has been a busy year so far. In November, our students participated in a very rewarding Science Day. The Discovery Museum in Milwaukee presented many hands on activities involving Physics and Mechanical Science. Our students constructed beehives and made their own inventions out of every day materials. Our third and fourth graders spent two weeks studying the Root River. They participated in cross-curricular projects that included Art, Science, Math, Spanish, and Social Studies. Our students even had the opportunity to canoe on the Root River. Our upper grade students are utilizing the smart boards and the comport lab to study and investigate the civil war. We recently held our evening variety show where students showcased their special talents and abilities.
We are in the process of adding additional information on recent scholastic and athletic accomplishments for our school so please check back to this website for updated information. As you can see, many great things are happening at St. Joe’s. If you are a new family looking for an excellent Catholic School, I invite you to come and visit St. Joe’s. We offer a Christian Catholic educational atmosphere. Our teachers prepare our children to be good Christian citizens. This year we also decided to participate in the school choice program. We welcomed school choice into our kindergarten through fourth grades.
If you would like more information about St. Joseph School, please contact me at 262-633-2403. Exciting things are happening at our School. I look forward to hearing from you.
